Diversified Augmented Reality (AR) Sandbox

Add a versatile and tactile learning experience to your classroom! Designed to easily create live 3D topography models with sand, this augmented reality (AR) sandbox includes everything you need to get started: the mobile sandbox, projector, camera, and laptop with instructions for the 3D visualization software, as well as a laptop shelf that conveniently mounts to the sandbox. The laptop shelf collapses when not in use for space-saving storage and features wire management for a cord-free work area.

The included AR software works in conjunction with the camera and laptop to demonstrate geographic, geologic, and hydro-logic concepts. Real-time elevation color map produces topographic contour lines and simulated water and lava for a realistic experience. This unit can be used for higher education as well as acting as a sensory experience for younger students and those receiving special education services. Constructed of wood and mounted on heavy-duty casters for easy mobility. Sparkling White Play Sand recommended – sold separately.
