These tables feature a robust 1 ¼ inch thick, high-density particle board top, which is coated with a two-sided thermal fused laminate. This durable finish is designed to resist common wear and tear, effectively protecting the surface from scratches, paint, markers, crayons, and various food and juice stains. For added stability, particularly on larger table sizes, extra bracing is incorporated into the design, ensuring long-term performance and reliability under heavy use.
The structural integrity of Correll tables is further enhanced by what is considered the industry’s strongest leg mounting system. Each leg mounting bracket is pre-attached using seven screws, supplemented by three additional screws in the leg plate and an oversized hairpin brace. An exceptional safety feature is the shoulder on the leg set screw, which provides an extra margin of safety even if the screw is not fully tightened, making these tables among the safest options available. The universal legs are highly adjustable, moving from 19 inches to 29 inches in 1-inch increments, and come in a choice of black (standard) or silver mist finish.
