Description

The Multi-Purpose Dolly by National Public Seating offers a robust and highly adaptable solution for the efficient storage and transportation of BT Series seminar tables across a range of sizes, specifically accommodating 18×60, 18×72, and 18×96 inch configurations. Constructed from heavy-duty 14-gauge tubular steel and finished with a sleek and durable black powder coating, this dolly is built to withstand the rigors of frequent use. Its thoughtfully engineered three-part frame features a central body incorporating two channels designed to securely cradle the ends of the tables. This central section also provides support for the vertical table posts, ensuring stability during transit. Enhancing user ergonomics, the dolly is equipped with two adjustable handles: one fixed handle for consistent control and one removable handle that offers three distinct height settings, allowing operators to customize the handling position for optimal comfort and leverage, thereby reducing strain during movement.  

Mobility is a key feature of the DY-MPD, facilitated by a system of six strategically placed casters. At the handle end, two swivel casters are equipped with brakes, providing secure stopping and positioning capabilities. Two additional swivel casters are located in the middle of the dolly, allowing for smooth and agile maneuvering, while two fixed casters at the opposite end contribute to stability and controlled directional movement. The dolly’s design incorporates adaptable support mechanisms that can be easily adjusted to accommodate varying table angles, enabling it to navigate through doorways with a minimum width of 32 inches. Furthermore, with minor adjustments to the table angles, the dolly’s capacity can be expanded to transport a greater number of tables, with an expanded width of 34 inches. While typically configured to load tables in two columns of 18 inches wide, the dolly’s versatility extends to handling wider 30-inch tables, such as 30×60, 30×72, and 30×96 inch sizes, by simply shifting the central tube to create the necessary clearance. Secure angle adjustments are maintained through the use of screws, ensuring that the tables remain stable during transport. Additionally, pre-drilled holes at the ends of the dolly provide precise and consistent table placement for 60, 72, and 96-inch long tables, streamlining the loading process and ensuring a secure fit.
